If you read my last blog post about visual marketing, you know that 65% of people are visual learners. Huge brands, like Starbucks, Adidas, Dove & Coca-Cola have taken visual marketing a step further with the concept of visual storytelling.
Visual storytelling is a successful marketing trend that gives shape and meaning to a message that could otherwise be dull and boring. It combines an idea with an emotion. In fact, stories are how humans make sense of the world. Social media marketing is not about facts and figures, but it’s the stories that people care about.
Social media can be frustrating for business owners because although it’s a marketing tool, it’s used in a completely different way. People do not actually read ads, but rather what would pique their interests. You should no long think of social media as “business” connecting with “consumer” and realize that it’s simply people connecting with people.
